don't deny our r²π

I have been replaying this song so much lately, "0330" from U-Kiss. It stands for 3.30am, a time of restlessness...

I still cannot erase you
I keep thinking about you
I really miss you
I cannot sleep at all at night

I really miss spamming my blog with lots of pics. And believe me, I have so many photos I want to share but alas, time is my enemy right now as I am struggling to keep up with my studies for my last exam. Yup, on April Fool's Day was the day of my last classes at UKM. I cannot believe the end is almost near. Anyway, I really want to blog about it so maybe, perhaps, another time?

This week has been really bittersweet and listening to 0330 has made me into an emo person this week. I am really going to miss my life in UKM and all the people I have met along the way. Secretly, there is also someone I will miss more that I expected to. Lol.

It has been a hard week. I am so disappointed in myself, both in my last clinical attachment as well as OspHe. I expect nothing but the best from myself and I really think I fail myself the most. I don't know why I can be so stupid sometimes and I am just so angry and frustrated with myself. But alas, I don't want to spread any negative energy on my last day so I try to put it all behind me and enjoy myself with my dear friends. And I also want to thank my besties who knew the rough morning I had and respected my wish to not mention about it. I really had a good time going out to dinner with you guys and chatting. It has been a while since I last had dinner with them:)

And now the dreaded study week has begin. As usual, I am still contemplating and not yet find myself in study mode. Arrgh. I. Need. To. Get. Motivated. No words needed, I just need to find it within myself to fight this last battle. P.S. the freakin' hot damn weather is SO not helping. I feel like a oven in my room.

I came across this beautiful quote on facebook which has helped me to be at ease with some situations. It is important to understand that not all situations are within our control. Sometimes it is best to let go just so you won't get hurt any further. Why try when I know in the end I am always the one ending up with tears?

Letting go doesn’t mean giving up, it means moving on. It is one of the hardest things a person can do. Starting at birth, we grasp on to anything we can get our hands on, and hold on as if we will cease to exist when we let go. We feel that letting go is giving up, quitting, and that as we all know is cowardly. But as we grow older we are forced to change our way of thinking. We are forced to realize that letting go means accepting things that cannot be. It means maturing and moving on, no matter how hard you have to fight yourself to do so (Wisdom Quotes @ Facebook)

P.S. Soooo emo mode la me. Must be all the alone time I am getting 24/7 >.<

you won't know how it feels to lose something until you lost it

Yay, I am back blogging. I am going to take a hiatus soon from blogging since my finals are coming up. But before that, I just want to blog about a few stuff. Anyway, I am like one of the few surviving active bloggers among my friends. Lol. Most of them have abandoned their blogs and gone off radar. Which is sad, actually, because I like blog-stalking my friends and know their latest updates. Oh well, just like every fad out there, blogging is fast becoming obsolete (is that the correct term?)...

###################

First of all, it will seem rude to not give my thanks and appreciation. Few months back, I joined some giveaways and I am happy that I was the winner in 2 of them! Actually, I am not really the type of person who likes joining contests and giveaways, etc. but I think I probably got influence by my roommate, who is super obsessed with joining these kind of things. Lol.

So here I want to thank these two fashion bloggers (who, IMHO, possess such great styles) for choosing me as their winner! Coincidentally, both of them gave out similar gifts as their giveaways. I received a cotton bow hairclip from Miss Incomplete and a Korean vintage polka dot bow hairclip from Revel in Me. Thanks so much ya~ I will continue to be fans of your blogs:)

Miss Incomplete who is also owner of Seventeen Origins

Revel in Me (coincidentally, she is one of my friend's acquaintances)

P.S. And no, I don't know both of them personally. I just came across their blogs and found them both to be very interesting...

########################

I came across this zodiac website, Zodiac Facts from also another fashion blogger, Ribbonyboo. Being the wuliao me, I decided to check it out and came across this term, "Zodiac Cusps", a category that fitted me perfectly due to my birth date. The exact meaning is:
"Cusps are the borders between the twelve astrological signs. You are considered to be 'on the cusp' if you were born within a day or two of the beginning or end of any sign."
Being born on 22nd November, I sometimes find myself either a Scorpio or a Sagittarius. And sometimes it's just confusing and annoying so I just end up reading about both these horoscopes because I don't know which one fits me better. Now I know, I am not just a Scorpio or a Sagittarius. I am a Scorpio-Sagittarius Cusp (November 19 to November 24). Lol. Anyway, I am never really the type of person who believes that astrology forces control our personality and future but some of the things mentioned are pretty interesting. There are a total of 22 attributes of Scorpio-Sagittarius cusp but I will just post some of my favourites...

01. Scorpio/Sagittarius cusps seek the truth and the meaning of life, and they love to explore through knowledge. They are investigative and probing, often strongly intuitive and penetrating.
02. Scorpio/Sagittarius cusps are very determined, and once they’ve made up their minds, they are unlikely to change them (in other words, I am quite stubborn)
03. Those who wish to change a Scorpio/Sagittarius mind often have trouble because they can never be sure what their motivation is; they are too complex and sometimes too secretive to be understood easily.
04. They want to experience life, rather than read about it, and they are outgoing and friendly (not so sure about the latter part)
05. Scorpio/Sanitarians are both mystical and scientific, a combination that makes them very aware of what is happening around them; they are a sign of great depth. Many enjoy travel and spiritual study and have daring and adventurous spirits.
06. They are high-spirited and enthusiastic, often flirtatious, and they tend to enjoy social life immensely.
07. They tend to be lucky and may enjoy gambling (not sure about the lucky but ya, I do like gambling)
08. Their philosophical side makes them enjoy drama and debate, as well as most other mentally challenging pursuits.
09. Their great love of knowledge and exploration makes them one of the most learned characters of the zodiac.
I only selected the few I thought best describe me. But then again, my personality sometimes changes according to my mood. I sometimes don't even know who I am (yet).

#####################

On another note completely, I realized there is only about a month left before I graduate. I am so not ready for working life yet. Also, I think I will miss some of the friends I made here. When I started my graduate studies in UKM, I could hardly wait till the day I graduate because it was just so stressful being in UKM doing Pharmacy. But now that the time is almost here, I don't really want it to arrive.

P.S. Don't know why I am always having emo posts here >_<

being cruel: because some days I can be cruel

Short update: I have finally opened up my own pre-loved blog to make way for more shopping~! Lol~ Take a look *HERE*

***********************************************

I'm coming home
Tell the World I'm coming home
Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday
I know my kingdom awaits and they've forgiven my mistakes
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
Tell the World that I'm coming

Homecoming
Feeling so emo lately...
Don't know why, must be the stress,
I have been really liking this song, especially the intro part,
Not that I am feeling homesick or anything,
No, not the literal meaning,
To me homecoming means actually finding the light,
I just want to find somewhere I belong,
Just want to know what my future is like,
I want to have that feeling of control,
To feel like I am not lost anymore...

Friends
Lately, feeling like I have been in a streak of bad luck,
It seems the more I care about something, the more I get hurt,
And when I needed people the most,
Everyone just let me down (except one),
I understand, everyone have their own goals to achieved,
People can be selfish, that is life.

Love
Before this, I used to ask friends,
What was more important?
To have feelings or to appreciate someone who is nice to you...
It seems to be unanimous,
feelings topped everything else
But then, what if the person you like more, treats you badly,
You will still forgive?
What if he never changes?

Decision
Thanks to someone,
I feel like I realized something,
I have been blinded, and stupid too,
It seems like the answer was right there all the time,
I think I now know what to do,
Yes, it is all thanks to that person.
Thank you for being selfish and unappreciative.

Think before you act
Finally,
I just want to say that,
Before you start being cocky and reject someone's favors,
And not help someone when they are in need,
Think about how you may need that person's help in the future.
Because, karma is really a bitch.
I cannot believe the extent of fakeness people can go through,
I pretend not to know just so I won't hurt you.
But I was not born yesterday.
I know more than I actually show.
All I am saying is, serves you right for being such a bitch.

***I don't know why I blogged so little. Writing always made me feel better. Always. My only chingu since small, and writing will never let me down, unlike people***

♥너를 사랑해 ♥

-Gomawo Suzy...nah nomu nomu chuwayo~~!!-
Haha, I cracked my head trying to write a creative post dedicated to my roommate cum fellow blogger, Suzane (aka Sparklezane). This CNY, we both decided to do something for one another. Her idea was to exchange gifts, mine was to exchange blog posts, since we were both awesome bloggers. Anyway, I really wanted to write something special that in the end I didn’t write anything whilst my dear roommate has already posted hers. *Guilty*

P.S. Suzie, there are not going to be lots of photos spam here, lol. Since I lost most of my 1st and 2nd year pics when I got my laptop reformatted. I hope you like this post as much as I like writing it:)

****************
In the month of July 2007 was the day I became a grown-up, in the sense I actually achieve my goals of entering a university. I had a lot of expectations in myself and I told myself not to be an introvert anymore. I don’t want to be that shy girl anymore, so I brainwashed myself to try and smile and be sociable with as many people as possible. But imagine my shock when I realized that all the Chinese in UKM spoke Mandarin. Maybe I lived in KL for too long, I really thought every Chinese out there can speak English and Cantonese. I guess I was too naïve. The 1st week, I struggled so much to overcome the language barrier. At the back of my mind, I was thinking how the hell am I going to survive 4 years here in UKM? I was so tempted to quit my university life and join my fellow form 6 friends in private uni, at least in my mind, I thought that I can stay in the comforts of my own house, instead of being confined to a run-down hostel, surrounded by people I can hardly communicate with.

-Suzane’s greatest talent is knowing 1001 poses and being ready for them anytime-

And then, it was like God answered my prayers, he gave me my then-future roommates. I was placed in LDK17 during the 3M orientation week. In my group, there were no Pharmacy students, just Beng Beng (Nutri), Suzane (Biomed) and Jen Yun (PDR). The first few days, we spend them as strangers. But during one night in KTSN, all it took was Suzane to crack one joke that made me and BB laughed. That was the ultimate ice-breaker for 3 of us. And I think that was the first time I ever had a genuine laugh during one of the worst weeks of my life. Just like that, the 3 of us instantly bonded, with jokes and sarcasm mainly thrown into the mix. The 3 of us were so different and yet we blend in well. What I like about my 2 roommates is that unlike me, they are such extroverts and sociable people. They can talk till the sun came up and making friends, for them, is such easy-peasy things. It is a good thing because being around them so much, I think they have also rub some effects on me:)

-The 2 Korean comedians I think she resembles the most-

The day I discover the connecting balconies between Block J and G is also one of the best things that ever happen in my 1st year life, because it meant that I can go and constantly annoy and pester Suzane 24/7. Haha. My room is so awfully hot and back then, my KT roommate and I hardly exchange any words between one another. So I go over to Suzane’s room and chat with her roommate so frequently, my coursemates sometimes go to Suzane’s room to look for me. LOL. It was also great that she is a fellow English-ed like me (although only 1% of UKM population knows that), because it meant that she can understand the situation I am in. And it was also great that during my 1st year when I had such difficulty bonding with my coursemates, I knew I always had 2 of my friends that I can lean on and confide my problems in. I think 2 of them were the only reasons I ever survive 1st year.

-Posted this pic as a payback for all the embarrassing pics she have of me-

In 2nd year, it was mainly my idea that 3 of us become roommates in Setapak. Honestly back then, there were no one I wanted to be roommates with except with 2 of them. So although they were hesitant at first, I am glad the plan finally fell through. Just like every great friendship out there, the 3 of us have our ups and downs, our fights and hugs, and along the way I think we only grew to know each other better. I am basically, I confessed, a very difficult person to live with. My worst trait is my temper and I have never live with other people before, unlike my fellow 88ers’ (and 89ers’) who spend 1 year in matriculation on their own. I am just glad and grateful that we can survive 3 years with each other without anyone threatening to kill, move out or commit suicide (LOL).

IMG_4391-Suzy, you can advertise this pic in matchmaking agency…lol-

Honestly, if I were to list down every single activity involving Suzane Mah Nyuk Fung, I think this post will be never-ending. But some of my best moments are definitely the places we go. With Suzane and BB, we travelled to Penang, Sarawak and Singapore. Not to mention endless shopping malls, even Bangsar Village and One Utama. Anywhere I go with them will always be fun, because they bring smiles and laughs to everyone. I just wish we can have more time to go out more often now:)

swak suzane2-Never shy from crazy poses-

http://www.emocutez.comSo in a nutshell, Suzane, you are daebak! I think I can always talk 24/7 in fluent Cantonese with you and laugh at your high maintenance, Cantonese swear words, bimbo talk and eccentricity that can only be, truly Suzane trademarks. There is no one like you in this world, and there can never be one, I think. I am glad I managed to influence you that marriage and relationships are not the most important things in life, and I am also glad your fashion sense has slightly elevated in the years we spend together (omg, you look so scary in 1st year, btw, make me so intimidated of you). Just like me, I think you have evolved from an ugly duckling into a swan (and also evolved to become more pious, I hope >> friendly reminder for you to wake up early on Sunday morn and accompany babi sia to church). Remember to treat me better (and I will feed you in return, LOL) and I hope you will always find it in your noble heart to forgive me for the mistakes and tantrums I made, because truly no one is perfect, and that is what makes them unique. Finally, to end this post, I want to again remind you to be in KK airport on 6th July to meet your roommate (MOI!!!!) and bring her back to your house (because I don’t want to stay overnight in the airport TT.TT.

Friendships come and Friendships go
Like wave upon the sand
Like day and night
Like birds in flight
Like snowflakes when they land
But you and I are something else
Our friendship's here to stay
Like weeds and rocks and dirty socks
It never goes away!

carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero

The title is actually a tattoo of Junhyung B2ST. I secretly want to get a tattoo, despite objections from everyone I know...

**************************

It feels like I have been neglecting this blog with updates of myself and just spamming it with lots of songs and videos only.

The month of January is almost over and CNY is just around the corner. But then again, unfortunately, so is our mid-semester examinations. Which is why I hope to have a hiatus from internet so I can fully concentrate on my notes. I just hope I can stick to this resolution of mine.

I have been so busy with so many activities in January that not only my purse has become lighter but I have also not been able to catch up on updating about them in my blog. But the best thing that has ever happen is the birth of my new baby~ whom I affectionately call "yeobo" (in Korean).

I finally bought an iPhone~!!!

It was like a dream come true. I have always wanted an iPhone when I saw my friend having one. It was so useful and functional. Initially, my Mom agree to buy it for me as a graduation present but my current mobile phone lost its main button and it was such a hassle to use. So after much persuasion, I got my iPhone in advance~! I am so so happy of my new baby~

So since this post is dedicated to my yeobo, I have decided to spam this whole post with pics taken by my yeobo. They are totally random but still significant.

My souvenir from UK (taken with Lomo Lomo app)

I have not seen my dear friend, Dr. Chu for a while now, not since my clinical attachments in HUKM last semester so it was fun to see him again. He was having posting at HKL so we had lunch near my campus. He was so lucky to be able to go to the UK. I am so jealous~. Thanks for the souvenir ya and nice catching up with you...

"it seems like i will always love you more than you love me"

lyrics:

I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing
Just prayed to a God that I don't believe in
'Cause I got time while she got freedom
'Cause when a heart breaks, no it don't breakeven

Her best days will be some of my worst
She finally met a man that's gonna put her first
While I'm wide awake she's no trouble sleeping
'Cause when a heart breaks, no it don't breakeven, even, no

What am I suppose to do
When the best part of me was always you and
What am I suppose to say
When I'm all choked up and you're okay

I'm falling to pieces, yeah
I'm falling to pieces

They say bad things happen for a reason
But no wise words gonna stop the bleeding
'Cause she's moved on while I'm still grieving
And when a heart breaks, no it don't breakeven, even, no

What am I gonna do
When the best part of me was always you
And what am I suppose to say
When I'm all choked up and you're okay

I'm falling to pieces, yeah
I'm falling to pieces, yeah
I'm falling to pieces
(One's still in love while the other one's leaving)
I'm falling to pieces
('Cause when a heart breaks, no it don't breakeven)

You got his heart and my heart and none of the pain
You took your suitcase, I took the blame
Now I'm tryna make sense of what little remains, oh
'Cause you left me with no love
and no love to my name

I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing
Just prayed to a God that I don't believe in
'Cause I got time while she got freedom
'Cause when a heart breaks, no it don't break
No it don't break, no it don't breakeven, no

What am I gonna do
When the best part of me was always you
And what am I supposed to say
When I'm all choked up and you're okay

I'm falling to pieces, yeah
I'm falling to pieces, yeah
I'm falling to pieces
(One's still in love while the other one's leaving)
I'm falling to pieces
('Cause when a heart breaks, no it don't breakeven)

Oh, it don't breakeven, no [x3]

if I walk, would you run?

If i walk, would you run?
If i stop, would you come?
If i say you're the one, would you believe me?
If i ask you to stay, would you show me the way?
Tell me what to say so you don't leave me.
The world is catching up to you
While you're running away to chase your dream
It's time for us to make a move cause we are asking one another to change
And maybe i'm not ready

Chorus:
But I'll try for your love
I can hide up above
I will try for your love
We've been hiding enough

Just watched "Fame" movie last night and thought this song was so sweet although the movie was just mediocre, IMHO.

I came back from Malacca yesterday and I am exhausted. I will try to update this blog but time is no best friend of mine at this point, what with the upcoming CNY celebrations and the mid-sems right after that. After mid-sems, there comes clinical attachments. *Sigh*

the best night ever~!!!

Living in KL all my life, I have never ever been to a concert before. Not even once. So, when my coursemate Ai Li asked me if I wanted to go to Digi Kpop Live Party 2011 where Beast, G.Na and 4Minute will be performing, I was like, wtf, I have never been to a concert / showcase before…and I had a friend to accompany me…so it was now or never. Lol~

Both of us had already set our minds to buy the tickets, but we were undecided as to which price range we wanted to go for. At the spur of the moment, we bought the most expensive ones – Platinum Zone, which is free standing but is nearest to the stage area. First time going to a concert like this and we bought the most expensive tickets. Hehe.

5  4

My ticket. It also came with some vouchers.

Because it was free standing, that means it was first come, first serve basis. So, right after our class, Ai Li and I had our lunch on campus and then we took the Hang Tuah monorail to Stadium Negara. Back to VI again, it has been so long since I last walked this road. Kinda miss my alma mater, but more so the people that had accompany me during my grueling Form 6 years.

6
When we arrived there, it was around 12pm and already there were people waiting in line under the hot sun. But because it was not so many, Ai Li and I decided to cam-whore first before the crowd arrives.

1
Platinum Zone was on higher grounds, had to climb the stairs. But near the main entrance there were some avatars that we can take photos with:)
