bridesmaids

Having a bad headache as I am writing this right now.

Just like this, the management disussed among themselves and send me away. It is just so sad that we cannot have more control on our lives and where it leads us. We are not allowed to voice our opinions and to just follow orders blindly. Are we all so immune that we just expect people to listen and obey orders?

mixed feelings

I got HKL for my FRP posting.

Happy.

I got OPD as my posting department.

I wished I can vent out more but for fear of offending people and for the safety preservation of my future job, I will be mum about it.

All I can say is great challenges loom ahead, and I don't really know if I have it in me to overcome it. Life is just so tough nowadays.

Still, in times like these, I remembered something my English teacher who taught me in first year of university said, "I have more faith in you than you have in yourself."

There is nothing I can do and I am actually saddened by the fact that I have no freedom to choose. But I will just accept it graciously and take it day by day.

On a brighter note, I am going on a weekend getaway with my beloved BF classmates and after that, a 2-week break to one of my must-visit places in the whole entire world!

These trips can not come at a better time than right now. All I want to do is to escape, my desire to just forget everything and escape...

bangkok 2011: conclusion

My last post on Bangkok 2011, a short and relaxing journey to visit relatives there. Btw, hope no one is confused by my Aunt Wendy (from KL) with Aunt Agnes (from Bangkok) lol.

On Day 4, a day before we left for Pattaya, is shopping day. Aunt Agnes brought us to Central World Siam, one of her favourite department stores. Lucky as it was the sales season at Bangkok so lots of branded and leather goods were on sale. I was going to start work soon so my Mom bought me a new bag and two pairs of shoes as gifts :)

Around that area are many shopping malls. I think I have been to Siam Paragon, Central World, MBK, and Platinum mall. There is actually an overhead bridge that connects to most of these shopping malls so if you don't want to waste money on train rides, walking is highly recommended.

pattaya 2011: days 5 and 6

I purposely skipped Day 4 in Bangkok because it was shopping day. Will blog about it later as there were not many pics.

On Day 5 and 6, we made a short excursion to Pattaya, which was a 2 hours journey by van. My aunt hooked us up with a local travel tour because her friend works there. But we just stayed one night there.

Anyway, Pattaya is nothing much to shout about. It will be a good place for beach lovers I guess but I am not much of a beach person. The weather in Pattaya was so unbelievably hot that although the photos turned out great, it made it harder to walk and tour Pattaya.

One of my favourite places is definitely Nongnooch Garden because of the beautiful sculptured plants and bushes. Being here reminded me of those vast gardens in beautiful mansions, like those one imagined when reading classic books and stuff.
